The cryptocurrency exchange KuCoin announced the launch of a $100 million Creators Fund to support early-stage NFT projects on Tuesday.
The fund adds to the newly launched KuCoin Windvane NFT Marketplace. Windvane offers creators to access to the heavy exchange traffic and the support of the community for building initial NFT offerings.
KuCoin reached 10 million registered users at the end of 2021 and has a daily trading volume of around $2 billion.
KuCoin Creators Fund is a joint venture between Windvane and KuCoin Ventures. NFT verticals of interest include arts, sports, profile pictures, Asian culture, celebrities and GameFi, according to KuCoin.
The fund will furthermore invite 99 NFT to join the Windvane marketplace. The marketplace will offer standard features like minting, trading and storage. It supports Ethereum, BSC, Flow, and more.
